Today we took the RER train out to Versailles. It was hot and the lines were really long. We toured the palace (I have to admit, I am not much for French history and this might have been my least favorite day of the trip). By the time we fought the crowds in the Palace, we were hot, tired, and hungry. By no means did we do the gardens justice. We were all in agreement that if we ever were back in Versailles that we would do the gardens over the palace. We ate at a McDonald's before riding the RER train back to Paris. The McDonald's in Paris are interesting as they have cafes in the front of the as well as having electronic orders screens that you can pre-order (if you have a credit card with a pin number-which we did not). Once we got back to Paris, John and Clay went back to the room to rest, but Sage and I headed over to the Arch de Triumph. I want to climb to the top while our museum pass was still good to get some pictures of Paris from the top.
The RER train to Versailles was double decker. We sat at the top. John is looking out the window at another double decker train.

Another pig sign (he doesn't look constipated)
I wanted to do physical cache in Paris, so there was a park not too far from the hotel that looked like a good choice. It was called the the wall of I love you's, because of the mural. And I found the cache after waiting some people out to reach under the bench. Also we saw and bride and groom taking pictures in the park.
You could not however play soccer in the park, but there was a group of 3-4 men playing just outside the park.
Walking up to the Sacre Coeur

beautiful church.
