Christmas eve '09

Christmas eve we open our traditional one present then we went to early church. We had dinner at the Martin's house and came home to early bed, so Santa could come.

Carnival Dream Day 7-At sea

The last day of the cruise was a day at sea. We just hung out and relaxed.

Sage and I went to 3 o'clock tea

Then Sage was in a Christmas performance on the ship. Clay refused to do it.

Here is the video of the song they sang. it is not the traditional Christmas music. Sage is right in the front.

Then Santa came to visit and it "snowed" on board ship.

Sage and this dancer really bonded. Sage really liked her and she taught them several time during the trip dance classes.

Clay did not perform, but still somehow managed to get his picture with the whole dance crew.

The last night on board there was a one hour open bar. Clay was having fun coming up with drinks he could order. The chocolata was not a hit. I asked them to pose like the masked on the wall, but they did not do very well.

Carnival Dream Day 6-Costa Maya, Mexico

Day 6 we were in Costa Maya, Mexico. We started out walking through the shopping area. This was the first place I had seen the clear vanilla on the trip so I picked some up to take home. Then we ventured out of the cruise ship area and found another shopping area that was still in the process of being built. In that area there were people renting golf cart that you could drive to the beach area, so we rented one. We had the golf cart for 4 hours, so we drove quite aways down the path, then we let each of the kids drive the golf cart around for awhile.

Once we got back on board Clay, Sage and I decided to go in the water slides, I went down all the slides, both the kids continued to go down then for quite awhile.

After all that Becky, Sage, and I went to a towel folding demonstration. Sage had a blast and end up with a copy of the book on how to fold more towel animals.
