Day 11 drop car at Heathrow and tube to London-and London

Today we said goodbye to the car.  I know John was glad to being done driving and to have survived without any accidents.  Both kids were glad not to have to sit with luggage between them anymore.  And I was glad not to have to navigate on the fly anymore.

Ride from car rental to tube station

One of many London taxi cab.
London War Museum-It was under construction, so the hanging planes where not up.  We walk through many of the other displays.
Spy display at War Museum.  Twins?

View of the London Eye from the War Museum.

First sighting of Big Ben (well Big Ben is the bell-
so technically we did not see Big Ben).

Looking straight up

The line and the cost prohibited us from going in Westmister Abby, but we took lots of pictures from the outside.

St. Pancas Station
Hotel next to King's Cross station
Park where we stopped to geocache, really old cemetery in the middle.  People were sitting on the bench the whole time so no cache this time.
The tube is celebrating its 150 anniversary.  Sage and I walked around King's Cross station and read about the tube.
