Day 13 Arsenal Game

Today was the ultimate day of the trip for John and Clay.  We spent most of the day watching football/soccer, but not just any team--Arsenal.  John bought us club level seats to watch a pre-season tournament-The Emirates Cup.  Since the games were not until mid-afternoon Sage and I took off in the morning and walked around the area near our hotel.

The British museum was very close to our hotel, so Sage and I walked over to check out the map inside that way we would have an idea which direction to go tomorrow.
Russell Square- there was a dog rolling around in the fountain when Sage and I where there.  He was so cute.  It is very cool how much green space London has.  I realize it is because there are no yards attached to the house, but everyone use them through out the day.
A pay toilet outside Russell Square
Checking emails, etc outside the restaurants near our hotel.  Ready for the Arsenal game

We had to stop and buy a $100 Wilshere jersey. Clay was in heaven.
Eating from street vendors-BBQ sandwiches, hamburgers, chips.

We met a couple at 1/2 time at a table inside. They had lived in the southern US so we talked to them for awhile. While we where talking the lady asked Sage if she had an Arsenal scarf and Sage told her "no" so she gave Sage one.

60,000 people leaving and most headed to Arsenal tube station. It was really crowded but amazingly efficient.
