More about Saturday and Sunday in Maine

Here is the updated version of our Maine trip (finally). Friday we drove to Orlando and stayed at my mom and dad's house. Saturday morning we took a direct flight to Portland, ME.

Clay caught up on his summer homework on the plane. He is working on learning to type.

After getting in to Portland, we drove to Cape Elizabeth (this is were the Halter's live). After settling into their house, we headed to Fort Williams Park for family day. The Portland Head Lighthouse (link) is one of the most photographed lighthouse (head lights) in Maine. We ate lunch and the kids/boys played carnival type game (including the bouncy house). We were very thankful that Jeff and Julie opened their house up to us, considering Jeff was busy with work, but made time to go out with us and Julie is expecting a baby-very soon!!!

We had planned on doing a "Duck tour", but the rain stopped that from happening. We headed north and checked out the L.L. Bean store.
