Leaving Acadia, heading back to Portland

We drove back to the Halter's the long way. We took the shore road back. As we drove I read the AAA book about each city. By doing this we found out about a fort (called Fort Knox (link)--not the Fort Knox). We had a really good time wandering around the fort.

After the fort we stopped for lunch and then found a park that had boat floats.
