First thing we did on day 2 was go to the FL capital. We took the elevator to the 22nd floor, to the viewing station. We toured the capital with Melissa, Trey and Ansley.

Florida State from the 22nd floor.
Outside the Florida Museum. We could have spent way more time there, but we had to keep moving across I-10.
Geocaching stop-this was an Earthcache. We had to measure the rock and take several pictures.
Peacock Bridge (Becky's family is the Peacocks) the geocache is on the otherside of the bridge.
Geocache #2 This is the longest waterfall in Florida.
Falling waters state park (link) was really trickling water, the water level is down in this part of Florida.
Geocache #3 Then we went to the fountain of youth-
Ponce de Leon Springs (link). We are now 10 years younger each after dipping our feet in the water. The water was 68 degrees and felt awesome after having been climbing around in the woods.
Friend we found near the pond.
Where the springs leads.
We finally got to Pensacola and Gardette and Marge's. The live on a pond. The kids feed the turtles cheerios. There were close to 100 turtles-all sizes.
