Today was all about being a tourist. We followed the Icelandic Golden Circle. This trail takes you somewhat inland at least as far as you are allowed to drive a rental car. Last night Sage and I saw a shirt that said-Volcanoes, geysirs, waterfalls, and glaciers all in one day-only in Iceland. Well that was today. We saw all that plus a cave, some color greenhouses, and lots and lots of cows, sheep, and horses.
The split of the America and European plates (Iceland is getting 2 to 4 mm bigger depending on which bill board you are reading).

The first geysir to be recorded. The original geysir does not shot off very often anymore, but the one that does go off does so every 5-7 min.
