Friday night of the Savannah tournament Christine, Noah, Clay and I drove to Savannah and shared a hotel room together. We shared a meal with the Mason's at The Pirate House at the water front. Then we walked down by the water in the freezing cold.
One of the stops on the waterfront.
Here are 7 of the 12 scarves I made for the "moms" on the team. We decided they we our uniform. We were very glad to have them over the weekend-it was very cold (going below freezing on Sunday).
Game one we won 7 to 1. The 1 they scored was when Clay fell in the mud and couldn't get back up. It had rained heavy the morning before our game, so the whole "field" was one big mud pit. It was chilly during this game, but there was more rain to come before the cold front would get to us!
Noah in the mud.
Clay was somewhat board during this this game. He kept yelling over to Christine and me, then he told us that his shoe was untied-we told him that we couldn't come on the field to help him. We asked Kunal to run over and tie it.
Lunch under the tent, during the current down pour.
Backpack for sale!
Sage and John showed up and it was cold, she and I cuddled under a blanket.
Game two, we lost. The team we played was scrappy.
Dinner at the hotel. We ate food from a local Italian restaurant and the boy and sibling played in the lobby.
Laundry was required after 2 games in the mud. The boys needed something clean to wear on Sunday.
