Friday was a busy day, I had a Halloween parade at school. I was not sure what I was going to wear still for a costume, so while I was showering, Sage laid out a purple shirt, pants, and fairy wings. I put glitter on my face and went as a fairy. I came home from school with red Elmo fur and yogurt all over my pants from the knees down--YUCK.On Thursday at school Clay had, had a fall festival. They had researched all about pumpkins and a little about apples. Sage did not do anything for Halloween or fall in school.
My mom came up on Friday. We got the kids ready to trick or treat and quickly carved pumpkins. For dinner we had "mummy hot dogs".One of Clay's best friends came over to trick or treat with us. His parents run a restaurant, so they were not going to be home. One of the other boys from down the street joined them and John took them all out. Sage went down the street and went out with the girls. Mom, Becky and I handed out candy. We sat out in the driveway, but it was pretty chilly. Then it started raining. We actually shut down pretty early. (I am missing a bunch of pictures on my mom's camera-to come soon)
My kids went as Geronimo Stilton and Thea Stilton from the Geronimo Stilton book series.
