Since it is now March I am just trying to get the Thanksgiving pictures up. The professional pictures in the middle were taken by a friend of Nicole's.

Thanksgiving 2010-day 1

We made the trip to Sarasota on Tuesday afternoon this year. We picked Sage up and then Clay-from downtown. This started us in a different point so went down a different way-nice to see new scenery. We had our Traditional dinner at the Indian restaurant.

Sage had a ice skating party for her 10th birthday. She shared the party with Lola who's birthday is 4 days after Sage's.








My friends and family had a surprise party for my 40th birthday:

the sign said, "Lordy, Lordy Kadi's 40"

For todays post I am going to post only about my actual 40th birthday. The day in it's self was great. I got an unbelievable amount of birthday emails and facebooks messages and phone calls (with really bad singing). I stopped at the mall and bought a new pair of pants to wear to lunch. And had a fantastic lunch with the girls (everyone made it)-Adisa, Ana Lia, Atsuko, Christine, and Dola. We ate at an Istanbul restaurant, buffet-yum. And I can't believe we did not get a picture of all of us.

Anyway as I was pulling into the driveway after picking the kids up-John texted me that he had just met with his boss and had been laid off. I guess that turning 40 is a turning point in a person's life. We will have to decide were we are going to live and work from here. As it was 10 years ago, we will start a new decade of our lives either here in Jacksonville or somewhere new.
