Savannah Cup Soccer Day 1

This weekend was another soccer tournament. We went to Savannah, GA to play. Our boys played the U11 league which is a league up. The lost all 3 games, Clay scored they only goal in all three games on a header. They looked really good though. We ate dinner Saturday night at Paula Deen's restaurant-The Lady and Son's.

Someone left the sprinkler on at the church were I work. The trees were beautiful when we pulled into the parking lot. However the sidewalk was another story trying to get the kids inside safely.

Rebecca's shower

We had a shower for John's cousin Rebecca. She is getting married in March. For the shower you were supposed to bring a dish to eat. Sage and I brought sweet potato taco (as appeasers) and dump cake. Then your present was supposed to relate to your dish. I asked Rebecca before the shower if she had any good cookbooks and she said that was something she needed so we got her my two favorite.

Atlanta Day 2

The weather was not the best but we decided to hike Arabia Mountain.  It was Lydia first picnic and hike.

Christmas 2nd time around

On Friday the 26 we drove to Atlanta.  We weren't sure if we were going to be able to go because Clay had not been feeling well the night before.  We let him sleep late and he woke up feeling better so we went ahead and went up.  The traffic was not horrible driving up and we got to celebrate Christmas all over again.
