Soccer Tournament-Oldsmar Game 3

Sunday morning our game was at 8:00 am. We played the Hunter's Creek Sharks (from Orlando). We lost 1-8. Clay played goal keeper about 2/3 of the game. The 1/3 he played in the field he scored our 1 goal. The Hunter's Creek Sharks were the eventual winners of the U10 tournament.

Soccer Tournament Oldsmar-Game 2

After game 1, John, Clay and I stayed to watch 1/2 of Gerrit's girl's team play their game.  Sage went back to the hotel with her grandma Kay-Kay and Opa to swim, read and eat lunch.  Eventually John, Clay and I and several other people from the team decided to head for lunch so we went up the street to Chili's.  At 2:00 the boys played East Lake Arsenal, beating them 5-1.  Clay played in the field this game and score 2 points.  My friend Julie (my room mate from college) and her family came down to visit us during the game.

After the game we went back to the hotel and the kids went swimming, then a group of about 30 of us end up at Friday's for dinner. Then after dinner my mom and a group of the kids had a spit ball fight in the parking lot. After that my mom watched the kids for John and I so we could go up to Wild Wing and hang out for awhile.

Soccer Tournament-Oldsmar Game 1

This weekend we went to Tampa for a soccer tournament for Clay's soccer team.  Clay, Sage and I rode down with Christine, Noah and Luke Wentzel and John drove Tim.  The guys were about 30 minute behind us and ended up meeting up with us at dinner.  We got to the hotel Friday around 8:00 and after a trip to visit with Gerrit (the coach) at Wild wings--I headed out with Christine to get ice cream, while the rest of my group went to bed around 9:30.

Saturday morning we had a game at 9:30 against the HCU Black (Hillsborough Co.).  The boys lost 0-3.  Clay played in goalie the whole time.

Welty Cousins Visit Take 2

We got to see Lydia and Cristina at Cristina's parent's house on Sunday. The kids got to play with Lydia for a little while, however Lydia was cutting 2 bottom teeth and was not in the best of spirits. I was fun being able to play with our baby cousin, it is too bad the cousins live so far apart.

Kev and Nicole's visit

Kevin (my brother) and his girlfriend Nicole stayed the night with us the other night.  They were on the way through Jacksonville going to Savannah.  Here is my traditional picture of the two of them in their PJ's, as we are running out the door.
